I want a better picture of the staff, but I'm just hoping people start farming SoO nonstop so I can get a suntouched staff really cheap.

The bone dragon staff... Looks a little... Lame? Sorry for the highschool lingo, theres no other way of describing it.
The hammer got shafted as well, that damn face plate should've been 3D, sorry Anet your textures aren't THAT great.

I must say, when I first opened this thread a day or so ago to look at the new weapons... and saw the spear... I lol'd. Such a disgrace to the original artwork.
The scythe is alright, though still seems a bit plastic. Undyed, it looks like something you might find at a toy store... Had a spare amulet sitting around so I completed Sanctum and sold one.
The daggers seem nicely detailed, though it appears the tassles were left out. Would have looked nicer as a sword imo... always saw it/them as one for some reason.
The hammer actually looks very nice, and though a bit wider than the concept art, is my favorite of this second batch so far.
The bone dragon staff... wow. The tail/spine of the original art seem to have been completely left out... looks awfully bland. Could just be that it's in the presence of Wasabi, perhaps causing the staff to appear insignificant in all that glimmering green glory...
Edit: The second pic of the spear appears to have been updated...? Though it's still meh.

Dragon Staff looks like absolute crap compared to the concept.
Ceremonial Spear looks like absolute crap compared to the concept.
Daggers are meh.
Scythe is nice.
Archaic Maul is very nice.

At first look I thought they just added a handle to the bleached skull.

maybe this is the wrong place for this question, but it seems relevant so...
Does the heart/organ inside the bone dragon staff pulsate?
If it does, that would redeem the fact that its eyes aren't glowing red and the handle is crap to me
Thanks!

A picture of someone dropping an id'ed scythe doesnt prove it came from there.....I believe previous pictures did prove it already though.

Agreed. A pre-searing cadet who joined this month supplying the "proof" that could easily be faked however does make me VERY suspicious about the other pictures as well. Considering how much DELIBERATE misinformation was spread with the last design a weapon contest stuff, I'm not believing anyone for a while.
Seriously people, wikis are designed to accomadate the free spread and exchange of ideas, not exploit people to make more fake money off your "leet drop." If you know where an item dropped, report it. If you don't want to do that, at least report it accurately instead of lying about it.

That staff is awesome! As i the hammer, not too sure about the others. I wish those daggers had been a sword.

First of all, the post on 17 shows The Deep, not Urgoz.
Secondly,
Somebody could have droped an unided one far away from the chest (or been with a guild group and coordinated it so he didn't have to worry about someone stealing it), wait for a few for other people openning the chest, and then picked it up.
Or it could have been shopped. The point is, the page 17 post isn't exactly "proof" either. We need multiple posts with confirmed drops.
After the Draconic Aegis now confirmed to not drop in Dalada Uplands and people still not sure WHERE it drops besides the z-chest, the "assume good faith" policy is over.
Now, they could legitamately drop there, but like I said, ceberation's post makes me VERY suspicious (why fake the picture with the "drop and then pick it back up methoid" if they legitamately drop there?).
Edit: and those daggers where always clearly daggers. Look at the design of the hand grip. It doesn't make sense as anything else.

I can see why people are not coming forward to help or share information nowadays. Post a pic, share an information ... and get questioned and put to trial.
I would rather keep the info to myself if I have them.
